Description

These Air Fryer Apple Fries are the perfect healthier dessert option—crispy, sweet, and packed with cinnamon flavor. A quick apple snack recipe for fall cravings or anytime you want a light and fruity dessert. Perfect with caramel dipping sauce or vanilla drizzle!


Ingredients

2 large apples

1 large egg

1/4 cup all-purpose flour

1/3 cup granulated sugar

1 1/2 teaspoons ground cinnamon

Optional: Vanilla icing or caramel sauce for drizzling


Instructions

1. Peel, core, and slice apples into even fry-sized sticks.

2. Set up three bowls: one with beaten egg, one with flour, and one with cinnamon mixed with sugar.

3. Dip each apple slice first into flour, then egg, and finally into the cinnamon-sugar mixture. Lightly press the coating onto the apples.

4. Preheat the air fryer to 380°F (195°C).

5. Arrange the apple fries in a single layer in the air fryer basket without overcrowding.

6. Cook for 6–8 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through until fries are golden and crispy.

7. Remove and serve warm. Optionally, drizzle with vanilla icing or dip in caramel sauce.

Notes

Use firm apples like Granny Smith or Honeycrisp to maintain texture during cooking.

For extra crunch, give the fries a light spray of oil before air frying.

Avoid overcrowding the air fryer to ensure even crisping.
