Description

These Air Fryer Caramelized Bananas are a quick and irresistible treat with a crisp, sugary crust and tender, sweet interior. Perfect as a topping or a standalone dessert, they bring together warm cinnamon and deep brown sugar in minutes.


Ingredients

2 ripe but firm bananas

2 tablespoons brown sugar

1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon

1 tablespoon melted butter or coconut oil

Pinch of salt (optional)


Instructions

  1. Peel the bananas and slice lengthwise in half.
  2. Mix brown sugar and cinnamon in a small bowl.
  3. Brush banana slices with melted butter or coconut oil.
  4. Sprinkle the sugar mixture over both sides of each banana slice.
  5. Place banana slices in the air fryer basket in a single layer.
  6. Air fry at 375°F (190°C) for 6–8 minutes until golden and bubbling.
  7. Let cool for 2 minutes before serving.
