Ingredients

2 large apples (Honeycrisp, Gala, or Granny Smith)

1 cup all-purpose flour

1 teaspoon baking powder

1 tablespoon sugar

1 egg

3⁄4 cup milk

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1⁄4 teaspoon salt

1⁄3 cup sugar (for coating)

1 tablespoon ground cinnamon (for coating)

Cooking spray


Instructions

1. Core and slice apples into 1/4-inch rings. Peel if preferred.

2. In a mixing bowl, whisk flour, baking powder, sugar, milk, egg, vanilla, and salt until smooth.

3. Preheat air fryer to 375°F and spray basket lightly.

4. Dip each apple ring in batter, let excess drip off, and arrange in a single layer in air fryer basket.
