Description

A creamy, cheesy, and hearty classic, Amish Country Casserole brings together ground beef, tender egg noodles, and a savory tomato-mushroom sauce for a dish that satisfies every comfort food craving. Perfect for feeding a crowd or prepping ahead.


Ingredients

1 lb ground beef

1 small onion, diced

1 can (10.5 oz) tomato soup

1 can (10.5 oz) cream of mushroom soup

1/2 cup milk

12 oz egg noodles

2 cups shredded cheese (cheddar recommended)

Salt and pepper to taste

Fresh parsley, chopped (optional)


Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a skillet, cook ground beef and onion until browned. Drain excess grease.
  3. In a bowl, mix tomato soup, cream of mushroom soup, and milk.
  4. Cook egg noodles according to package directions. Drain.
  5. Combine cooked beef, soup mixture, and noodles in the bowl. Stir to coat evenly.
  6. Transfer to a greased 9×13-inch baking dish. Top with shredded cheese.
  7. Bake for 25–30 minutes until cheese is melted and edges are bubbling.
  8. Garnish with chopped parsley if desired. Serve warm.
