Ingredients

4 firm ripe pears (Bosc or Anjou)

1/4 cup honey

1/3 cup walnuts, roughly chopped

1 tsp ground cinnamon

2 tbsp unsalted butter, cut into small pieces

1 tbsp lemon juice (optional)


Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Halve pears and scoop out cores.
  3. Place pears cut side up in a baking dish.
  4. Drizzle honey over pears, sprinkle with cinnamon, and dot with butter.
  5. Scatter walnuts over the pears, focusing on the centers.
  6. Bake for 25-30 minutes until pears are tender and golden.
  7. Cool slightly, drizzle with extra honey or lemon juice if desired, and serve
