Ingredients
4 firm ripe pears (Bosc or Anjou)
1/4 cup honey
1/3 cup walnuts, roughly chopped
1 tsp ground cinnamon
2 tbsp unsalted butter, cut into small pieces
1 tbsp lemon juice (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Halve pears and scoop out cores.
- Place pears cut side up in a baking dish.
- Drizzle honey over pears, sprinkle with cinnamon, and dot with butter.
- Scatter walnuts over the pears, focusing on the centers.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes until pears are tender and golden.
- Cool slightly, drizzle with extra honey or lemon juice if desired, and serve
