Description

This fresh and easy Berry Spinach Salad combines vibrant spinach, juicy strawberries, blueberries, feta cheese, and crunchy pecans, topped with a zesty balsamic vinaigrette. It’s a perfect healthy summer salad recipe packed with antioxidants, fiber, and flavor.

Ingredients

6 cups fresh spinach

1 cup sliced strawberries

1 cup fresh blueberries

¼ cup thinly sliced red onion

½ cup crumbled feta cheese

½ cup candied pecans

¼ cup balsamic vinaigrette dressing

Instructions

1. Wash and dry the spinach, strawberries, and blueberries thoroughly.

2. Slice the strawberries and thinly slice the red onion.

3. In a large salad bowl, layer the spinach as the base.

4. Add strawberries and blueberries evenly over the spinach.

5. Top with red onion slices, crumbled feta, and candied pecans.

6. Drizzle with balsamic vinaigrette.

7. Toss gently using salad tongs and serve immediately.

Notes

Add grilled chicken or tofu for a protein boost and full-meal satisfaction.

Keep dressing separate if making ahead to avoid soggy greens.

Swap in goat cheese or blue cheese for different flavor profiles.
