Description

This Best Marry Me Salmon recipe is a creamy, one-skillet wonder made with pan-seared salmon, sun-dried tomatoes, and a rich parmesan cream sauce. It’s quick, elegant, and perfect for romantic dinners or easy weeknight meals. Ideal for salmon lovers and fans of creamy seafood dishes.

Ingredients

2 salmon fillets

2 tablespoons olive oil

3 cloves garlic, minced

1/3 cup sun-dried tomatoes, chopped

3/4 cup heavy cream

1/3 cup chicken broth

1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese

1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)

Salt and pepper, to taste

Fresh basil or parsley, for garnish

Instructions

1. Pat the salmon fillets dry and season both sides with salt and pepper.

2. Heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Sear the salmon skin-side up for 4-5 minutes until golden, flip and cook another 3 minutes. Remove and set aside.

3. Reduce heat to medium. Add the remaining olive oil and sauté the garlic for 30 seconds until fragrant.

4. Stir in the chopped sun-dried tomatoes and cook for 1 minute.

5. Pour in the chicken broth and heavy cream, stirring to combine.

6. Add parmesan cheese, Italian seasoning, and red pepper flakes if using. Let the sauce simmer for 2-3 minutes until it slightly thickens.

7. Return the salmon fillets to the pan, spoon sauce over the top, and simmer covered for 2-3 more minutes.

8. Garnish with fresh basil or parsley and serve hot.

Notes

Let the salmon come to room temperature before cooking for a more even sear.

If the sauce thickens too much, add a splash of broth or cream to loosen it.

For extra richness, finish with a small pat of butter in the sauce.
