Ingredients
2 chicken breasts
1 ½ tablespoons Cajun seasoning
8 oz bowtie pasta
1 ½ cups shredded mozzarella cheese
1 cup heavy cream
2 garlic cloves, minced
2 tablespoons butter
1 tablespoon olive oil
Salt and pepper to taste
1 tablespoon chopped parsley (optional)
Instructions
1. Pat chicken breasts dry and season both sides with Cajun seasoning.
2. Heat olive oil and butter in a skillet. Sear chicken for 5–6 minutes per side until golden and fully cooked. Remove and let rest.
3. Cook bowtie pasta in salted boiling water. Drain and set aside.
4. In the same skillet, add butter if needed. Sauté garlic for 30 seconds, add heavy cream, and simmer.
5. Whisk in shredded mozzarella cheese. Season with salt and pepper.
6. Slice chicken into strips. Toss pasta into the cheese sauce and stir to coat.
7. Plate the pasta, top with sliced chicken, and garnish with parsley.
Notes
Use freshly shredded mozzarella for a smoother melt.
Don’t overcook the chicken—just until juices run clear.
Add a splash of cream when reheating leftovers to bring the sauce back to life.
