Ingredients
2 cups cooked chicken
3 cups cooked white rice
2 cups fresh broccoli florets (steamed or blanched)
1 can (10.5 oz) cream of chicken soup
1 cup sour cream or Greek yogurt
2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon onion powder
Salt and black pepper to taste
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13-inch casserole dish.
2. Steam or blanch broccoli florets until just tender, then drain and set aside.
3. In a large mixing bowl, combine chicken, rice, broccoli, cream of chicken soup, sour cream or yogurt, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
4. Spread the mixture evenly into the prepared baking dish.
5. Top with shredded cheddar cheese.
6. Cover with foil and bake for 25–30 minutes.
7. Remove foil and bake an additional 10–15 minutes until cheese is melted and golden.
8. Let cool for 5 minutes before serving.
Notes
Use freshly shredded cheese for the best melt and texture.
Don’t overcook the broccoli—it should be tender yet firm.
