This Cajun Ranch Chicken Pasta recipe combines tender chicken, creamy ranch sauce, and bold Cajun spices in a comforting, flavorful meal. Perfect for weeknight dinners, this creamy pasta is quick to make and family-approved.
Ingredients
2 large chicken breasts
8 oz penne pasta
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 tablespoon Cajun seasoning
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 tablespoon ranch seasoning mix
1 cup heavy cream
½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
2 tablespoons butter
Salt and pepper to taste
Fresh parsley, chopped (optional)
Instructions
1. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Season chicken with Cajun seasoning, salt, and pepper. Sear each side for 5–6 minutes until golden and cooked through. Remove from pan and set aside.
2. In a pot, boil salted water and cook penne pasta until al dente. Drain and set aside.
3. In the same skillet used for the chicken, melt butter. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute.
4. Stir in ranch seasoning mix, then pour in heavy cream and bring to a simmer.
5. Add Parmesan cheese and stir until melted and the sauce is smooth.
6. Add cooked pasta and toss to coat in sauce. Return chicken to skillet and combine everything.
7. Garnish with chopped parsley and serve immediately.
Notes
Let the chicken rest before slicing to keep juices inside.
For a thinner sauce, add a splash of milk during step 5.
Add spinach, mushrooms, or bell peppers for extra flavor and nutrition.
