1 lb sirloin steak, thinly sliced
1 tbsp olive oil
1 tbsp butter
1 small onion, finely diced
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 cup beef broth
1 cup heavy cream
1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
Salt and pepper to taste
1 package (12 oz) cheese tortellini
Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Heat olive oil and butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the sliced sirloin steak and cook for 3-4 minutes until browned. Season with salt and pepper, then transfer to a plate.
- In the same skillet, cook the diced onions for 2-3 minutes until softened. Stir in the minced garlic and cook for another 30 seconds.
- Pour in the beef broth, scraping the skillet to deglaze. Stir in Worcestershire sauce and heavy cream, then simmer for 3-4 minutes until slightly thickened.
