Description

Cheesy Garlic Butter Spaghetti with Italian Sausage & Spinach is a rich, creamy, and quick dinner recipe packed with savory flavor. This comfort food pasta combines gooey cheese, tender spinach, and seasoned sausage in a garlic butter sauce—perfect for family meals and weeknight cravings.

Ingredients

1 pound spaghetti

1 pound Italian sausage

4 tablespoons unsalted butter

4 cloves garlic, minced

3 cups fresh spinach

1 cup heavy cream

1 cup freshly grated parmesan cheese

1 ½ cups shredded mozzarella cheese

Salt, to taste

Black pepper, to taste

Instructions

1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook the spaghetti until al dente according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.

2. In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the Italian sausage until fully browned, crumbling it as it cooks. Remove from skillet and set aside.

3. In the same skillet, melt the butter. Add minced garlic and cook for about 1 minute until fragrant.

4. Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a light simmer. Stir in parmesan cheese until completely melted and smooth.

5. Add spinach to the sauce and stir until wilted.

6. Return the sausage to the skillet, then add the cooked spaghetti. Use tongs to toss everything together until well coated.

7. Sprinkle mozzarella cheese on top and let it melt. Serve immediately with extra parmesan if desired.

Notes

Use freshly grated cheese for best texture and melting.

Don’t overcook the garlic—burnt garlic will taste bitter.

Add a splash of reserved pasta water if the sauce feels too thick.
