Description

Cheesy Garlic Cajun Chicken Bowtie Pasta in Alfredo Sauce is a creamy, spicy, and cheesy dinner made with seared Cajun chicken, bowtie pasta, and rich homemade Alfredo. Perfect for weeknights or impressing guests, this pasta dish is a must-try for lovers of bold, comforting meals.

Ingredients

2 boneless skinless chicken breasts

2 tablespoons Cajun seasoning

8 ounces bowtie pasta

1 tablespoon olive oil

2 tablespoons butter

4 cloves garlic minced

1 cup heavy cream

1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

½ cup grated Parmesan cheese

Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

1. Season chicken breasts with Cajun seasoning on both sides.

2. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Sear chicken for 5–6 minutes per side until golden and cooked through. Remove and let rest.

3. Cook bowtie pasta in a large pot of salted boiling water according to package directions. Drain and set aside.

4. In a saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Add minced garlic and cook until fragrant, about 1 minute.

5. Pour in heavy cream, stirring continuously. Bring to a simmer.

6. Stir in mozzarella and Parmesan cheese until melted and sauce is smooth. Season with salt and pepper.

7. Add cooked pasta to the sauce and stir to combine.

8. Slice the chicken into strips and serve over the pasta.

9. Optional: garnish with parsley or extra cheese before serving.

Notes

For extra richness, use freshly grated Parmesan rather than pre-shredded.

Adjust Cajun seasoning to taste for more or less heat.

Add a splash of pasta water to loosen the sauce if it thickens too much while combining.
