Description

A creamy, comforting pasta dish packed with seasoned chicken, rich ranch-flavored sauce, and perfectly cooked penne. This recipe is perfect for weeknight dinners, casual gatherings, or prepping a satisfying meal ahead.


Ingredients

2 chicken breasts, sliced into strips

2 cups penne pasta

4 oz cream cheese

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

1 tablespoon ranch seasoning mix

1/2 cup heavy cream

1/2 cup chicken broth

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon onion powder

1 tablespoon olive oil

1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley (optional)


Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
  2. Season chicken with garlic and onion powder, salt, and pepper. Sear until golden and cooked through. Set aside.
  3. Cook penne pasta until al dente. Reserve 1 cup of pasta water and drain.
  4. In the same skillet, lower heat to medium. Add chicken broth, heavy cream, cream cheese, and ranch seasoning. Whisk until smooth.
  5. Stir in cheddar cheese until melted.
  6. Add chicken and drained pasta to the sauce. Toss gently to coat. Simmer for 2-3 minutes.
  7. Adjust thickness with reserved pasta water if needed.
  8. Garnish with parsley and serve warm.
