Ingredients

12 oz steak strips

12 oz penne pasta

2 tbsp Cajun seasoning

4 tbsp butter

1 cup heavy cream

4 cloves garlic, minced

1 cup Parmesan cheese, grated

2 tbsp olive oil

2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped


Instructions

1. Pat steak strips dry and season generously with Cajun seasoning.

2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Sear steak strips for 2-3 minutes per side until browned. Remove and set aside.

3. In a separate pot, boil penne pasta until al dente. Drain, reserving ½ cup pasta water.

4. In the same skillet, melt butter and sauté garlic until fragrant. Stir in Cajun seasoning.

5. Pour in heavy cream, whisk until smooth. Add Parmesan cheese and stir until melted.

6. Add cooked pasta to skillet, tossing to coat. If sauce is too thick, add pasta water gradually.

7. Return steak strips to skillet, mixing gently. Garnish with parsley and serve hot.

Notes

Use a cast iron skillet for the best steak sear and flavor.

Let steak rest after searing to keep it juicy.

Adjust Cajun seasoning to control spice level.
