Description

A restaurant-style dinner made at home, this dish brings together seared Cajun-seasoned chicken, velvety garlic-Parmesan Alfredo sauce, and bowtie pasta for a creamy, spicy, and ultra-satisfying meal.

Ingredients

2 large chicken breasts, cut into cubes

2 tbsp Cajun seasoning

Salt and black pepper, to taste

2 tbsp olive oil

2 tbsp butter (divided)

3 garlic cloves, minced

1 cup heavy cream

1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese

8 oz bowtie (farfalle) pasta

2 tbsp chopped fresh parsley (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Cook the Pasta: Boil a pot of salted water. Cook bowtie pasta until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. Prepare the Chicken: Toss chicken with Cajun seasoning, salt, and pepper. Heat olive oil and 1 tbsp butter in a skillet. Sear chicken until golden and cooked through, about 6–8 minutes. Remove from skillet.
  3. Make the Sauce: In the same skillet, add remaining butter and garlic. Sauté until fragrant. Add heavy cream and simmer for 3–5 minutes.
  4. Add Cheese: Slowly whisk in Parmesan cheese until smooth.
  5. Combine: Return chicken to the skillet and simmer 2–3 minutes. Add cooked pasta and toss to coat.
  6. Serve: Garnish with fresh parsley and extra Parmesan if desired.
