A restaurant-style dinner made at home, this dish brings together seared Cajun-seasoned chicken, velvety garlic-Parmesan Alfredo sauce, and bowtie pasta for a creamy, spicy, and ultra-satisfying meal.
Ingredients
2 large chicken breasts, cut into cubes
2 tbsp Cajun seasoning
Salt and black pepper, to taste
2 tbsp olive oil
2 tbsp butter (divided)
3 garlic cloves, minced
1 cup heavy cream
1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
8 oz bowtie (farfalle) pasta
2 tbsp chopped fresh parsley (for garnish)
Instructions
- Cook the Pasta: Boil a pot of salted water. Cook bowtie pasta until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- Prepare the Chicken: Toss chicken with Cajun seasoning, salt, and pepper. Heat olive oil and 1 tbsp butter in a skillet. Sear chicken until golden and cooked through, about 6–8 minutes. Remove from skillet.
- Make the Sauce: In the same skillet, add remaining butter and garlic. Sauté until fragrant. Add heavy cream and simmer for 3–5 minutes.
- Add Cheese: Slowly whisk in Parmesan cheese until smooth.
- Combine: Return chicken to the skillet and simmer 2–3 minutes. Add cooked pasta and toss to coat.
- Serve: Garnish with fresh parsley and extra Parmesan if desired.
