Description

Creamy Cajun Chicken Spaghetti with Garlic Mozzarella Sauce is a comforting, spicy pasta dish featuring seared chicken, bold Cajun flavors, and a rich garlic-mozzarella cream sauce. Perfect for dinner with quick prep and satisfying Southern-Italian flair.


Ingredients

2 large chicken breasts

8 oz spaghetti

1 ½ cups shredded mozzarella cheese

1 cup heavy cream

4 cloves garlic, minced

2 tbsp butter

1 tbsp olive oil

1 tbsp Cajun seasoning

½ tsp salt

¼ tsp black pepper

2 tbsp chopped parsley (optional)


Instructions

1. Pat chicken breasts dry and season with Cajun seasoning.

2. Heat olive oil in a skillet and sear chicken for 5–7 minutes per side. Let rest.

3. Cook spaghetti in salted water until al dente. Reserve ½ cup of pasta water.

4. Melt butter in a saucepan, sauté garlic until fragrant.

5. Add heavy cream, whisk until hot, then stir in mozzarella until melted. Season with salt, pepper, and parsley.

6. Toss cooked spaghetti into the sauce. Add pasta water as needed to loosen.

7. Slice the chicken and serve over pasta. Garnish with extra sauce and parsley.

Notes

Rest the chicken before slicing to retain juiciness.

Use fresh garlic for the best flavor impact.

Add a pinch of red pepper flakes if you want more heat.
