Ingredients

1 tablespoon olive oil

1 tablespoon butter

1 pound beef steak, cut into cubes (sirloin or ribeye)

1 teaspoon salt

1/2 teaspoon black pepper

1/2 teaspoon paprika

1/2 cup diced onion

2 cloves garlic, minced

1/2 cup bell peppers (optional), sliced

1 cup beef broth

1 cup heavy cream

4 ounces cream cheese

1 cup shredded mozzarella or provolone

9 ounces cheese tortellini (fresh or refrigerated)

Chopped parsley for garnish

Extra cheese for topping (optional)

Instructions

1. Heat olive oil and butter in a skillet over medium-high heat. Season steak cubes with salt, pepper, and paprika, then sear until browned. Remove and set aside.

2. In the same skillet, sautée onion and garlic until soft and fragrant. Add bell peppers if using.

3. Pour in beef broth and bring to a simmer. Stir in cream cheese and heavy cream until smooth. Add shredded cheese and stir until melted.

4. Add tortellini to the skillet, cover, and cook for 4-5 minutes until tender.

5. Return steak to the pan and stir everything together. Simmer for 2-3 minutes.

6. Garnish with parsley and additional cheese. Serve warm.

Notes

Let steak rest for a few minutes after searing to keep it juicy before adding it back.

Use refrigerated tortellini for a quick cook and creamy finish.

Stir gently to prevent the tortellini from breaking apart in the sauce.
