Description

This creamy garlic butter beef tortellini with Italian sausage and spinach is the ultimate comfort food dinner. Made in one skillet with a rich parmesan sauce, this easy pasta recipe is perfect for busy nights or special occasions. It’s a hearty and flavorful meal your whole family will love.

Ingredients

9 oz cheese tortellini

8 oz Italian sausage (mild or spicy)

3 cloves garlic, minced

2 tbsp butter

1 cup heavy cream

1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese

2 cups baby spinach

1 tbsp olive oil

Salt and cracked pepper, to taste

1/4 tsp chili flakes (optional)

Instructions

1. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add sausage pieces and brown them on all sides until fully cooked. Remove and set aside.

2. Lower heat and melt butter in the same skillet. Add garlic and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.

3. Pour in heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer. Stir in parmesan, salt, pepper, and chili flakes. Let the sauce thicken slightly.

4. Cook tortellini in salted boiling water until al dente. Drain and add to the cream sauce.

5. Stir in baby spinach and cook until wilted. Add cooked sausage back to the pan and mix gently.

6. Simmer everything together for 3–5 minutes, then serve hot topped with extra parmesan.

Notes

Use freshly grated parmesan for best flavor and melting.

Don’t overcook the tortellini; they should be tender but firm.

Add a splash of cream when reheating to keep the sauce smooth.
