Creamy Garlic Chicken & Parmesan Pasta Delight

Description

A hearty and creamy pasta dish combining golden pan-seared chicken with fettuccine in a luscious garlic-Parmesan sauce. Perfect for weeknight comfort or weekend indulgence.


Ingredients

2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts, diced

8 oz fettuccine pasta

1 tablespoon olive oil

2 tablespoons butter (divided)

3 garlic cloves, minced

1 cup heavy cream

3/4 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese

1/2 teaspoon Italian seasoning

Salt and pepper to taste

1 tablespoon chopped parsley (for garnish)


Instructions

  1. Season diced chicken with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning.
  2. In a skillet, heat olive oil and 1 tablespoon butter over medium-high heat. Sear chicken until golden and cooked through. Remove and set aside.
  3. Cook fettuccine in salted boiling water until al dente. Reserve 1/2 cup pasta water and drain.
  4. In the same skillet, melt remaining butter. Sauté garlic for 1 minute until fragrant.
  5. Pour in heavy cream and simmer gently for 2–3 minutes.
  6. Stir in Parmesan cheese until sauce thickens slightly.
  7. Return chicken to skillet. Add fettuccine and toss everything together. Use reserved pasta water to loosen the sauce if needed.
  8. Garnish with parsley and extra Parmesan. Serve hot.
