A hearty and creamy pasta dish combining golden pan-seared chicken with fettuccine in a luscious garlic-Parmesan sauce. Perfect for weeknight comfort or weekend indulgence.
Ingredients
2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts, diced
8 oz fettuccine pasta
1 tablespoon olive oil
2 tablespoons butter (divided)
3 garlic cloves, minced
1 cup heavy cream
3/4 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
1/2 teaspoon Italian seasoning
Salt and pepper to taste
1 tablespoon chopped parsley (for garnish)
Instructions
- Season diced chicken with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning.
- In a skillet, heat olive oil and 1 tablespoon butter over medium-high heat. Sear chicken until golden and cooked through. Remove and set aside.
- Cook fettuccine in salted boiling water until al dente. Reserve 1/2 cup pasta water and drain.
- In the same skillet, melt remaining butter. Sauté garlic for 1 minute until fragrant.
- Pour in heavy cream and simmer gently for 2–3 minutes.
- Stir in Parmesan cheese until sauce thickens slightly.
- Return chicken to skillet. Add fettuccine and toss everything together. Use reserved pasta water to loosen the sauce if needed.
- Garnish with parsley and extra Parmesan. Serve hot.
