Description

This creamy garlic parmesan chicken with cheesy linguine recipe is the ultimate comfort food! Ingredients

2 large chicken breasts or thighs

250g linguine pasta

1 cup heavy cream

¾ cup grated parmesan cheese

3 cloves garlic, minced

2 tablespoons butter

1 tablespoon olive oil

1 tablespoon chopped parsley or Italian herbs

Salt and pepper, to taste


Instructions

  1. 1. Pat chicken dry, season with salt, pepper, and herbs.
  2. Heat butter and olive oil in a skillet; sear chicken 5–6 minutes per side until golden and cooked.
  3. Set aside. In same skillet, sauté garlic until fragrant.
  4. Add heavy cream, simmer. Stir in parmesan, whisk until smooth.
  5. Season to taste.
  6. Cook linguine in salted water until al dente; drain, reserve some pasta water.
  7. Toss linguine in sauce, adding pasta water as needed.
  8. Slice chicken, place on top.
  9. Garnish with parsley and extra parmesan.

Notes

Use freshly grated parmesan for best flavor and smooth sauce.

To lighten, swap heavy cream with half-and-half.

Add mozzarella or fontina for extra cheesiness.
