Ingredients
1 lb chicken breasts
8 oz rotini pasta
1 cup heavy cream
1 cup grated parmesan cheese
4 cloves garlic, minced
2 tbsp butter
1 tbsp olive oil
1 tsp Italian seasoning
1/4 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
2 tbsp chopped fresh parsley
Salt and pepper, to taste
Instructions
1. Season the chicken with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning.
2. Heat olive oil and 1 tablespoon of butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Sear chicken on both sides until golden and cooked through. Remove and let rest.
3. In a medium pot, boil rotini pasta in salted water until al dente. Drain and set aside.
4. In the same skillet, melt the remaining tablespoon of butter and sauté minced garlic until fragrant.
5. Pour in heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer.
6. Whisk in the parmesan cheese until the sauce is smooth and creamy.
7. Add cooked pasta into the sauce and toss to coat evenly.
