Ingredients

1 lb chicken breasts, sliced into strips

8 oz Velveeta cheese, cubed

1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

3 garlic cloves, minced

1 cup heavy cream

2 tbsp butter

12 oz linguine pasta

1 tsp salt

1/2 tsp black pepper

1/2 tsp smoked paprika

1 tbsp chopped parsley (optional)


Instructions

1. Season chicken breasts with salt, pepper, and smoked paprika.

2. In a large skillet, heat oil and sear chicken until golden and cooked through. Remove and set aside.

3. In a pasta pot, boil linguine in salted water until al dente. Reserve 1 cup of pasta water, then drain.

4. In the same skillet, melt butter and sauté garlic until fragrant.

5. Stir in heavy cream and Velveeta. Whisk until cheese is fully melted.

6. Add shredded mozzarella and whisk again until sauce is creamy.

7. Add cooked linguine into the sauce. Use reserved pasta water to loosen if needed.

8. Return chicken to skillet and toss with pasta.

9. Garnish with parsley and serve hot.

Searing the chicken separately keeps it juicy and flavorful.

Always reserve pasta water—it’s key for adjusting sauce texture.

Fresh garlic works best; avoid pre-minced jars for optimal flavor.
