Description

A golden, crispy cod sandwich layered with fresh lettuce, juicy tomatoes, crunchy pickles, and creamy dill tartar sauce, all tucked inside a buttery brioche bun. This sandwich delivers an irresistible combo of textures and flavors that’s perfect for a weeknight treat or a weekend indulgence.


Ingredients

4 cod fillets (about 5 oz each)

1/2 cup flour

2 eggs, beaten

1 cup panko breadcrumbs

1 tsp salt

1/2 tsp black pepper

1/2 tsp paprika

1/2 tsp garlic powder

Vegetable or canola oil, for frying

4 brioche buns

4 lettuce leaves

2 tomatoes, sliced

8 pickle slices

1/2 cup dill tartar sauce


Instructions

  1. Pat cod fillets dry and season with salt, pepper, paprika, and garlic powder.
  2. Dredge fillets in flour, dip in beaten eggs, then coat with panko breadcrumbs.
  3. Heat oil in skillet over medium-high heat; fry fillets 3-4 minutes per side until golden and crispy.
  4. Toast brioche buns lightly.
  5. Spread dill tartar sauce on buns, layer cod, lettuce, tomato, and pickles.
  6. Top with bun and serve immediately.
