Ingredients
4 boneless skinless chicken breasts
8 ounces cream cheese, softened
1 can golden mushroom soup (10.5 ounces)
1 packet dry Italian dressing mix
4 tablespoons butter, melted
1 cup chicken broth
12 ounces angel hair pasta, cooked
Instructions
1. In a medium mixing bowl, whisk together golden mushroom soup, softened cream cheese, Italian dressing mix, melted butter, and chicken broth until smooth.
2. Lightly spray the slow cooker with cooking spray or use a liner.
3. Place the chicken breasts into the bottom of the crock pot.
4. Pour the sauce over the chicken, making sure it’s evenly coated.
5. Cover and cook on low for 5–6 hours, or on high for 3–4 hours, until chicken is fully cooked and tender.
6. Cook angel hair pasta according to package instructions right before serving.
7. Serve the chicken whole or shredded over pasta and ladle the creamy sauce generously over the top.
8. Garnish with chopped parsley if desired.
Notes
Let cream cheese soften at room temperature before mixing—it blends much smoother.
Use a crock pot liner for easier cleanup and less sticking.
Add a splash of broth or milk when reheating to keep the sauce creamy.
