Description

Delicious Chicken Teriyaki Noodles are an easy, flavor-packed weeknight dinner. Juicy chicken glazed in a sticky homemade teriyaki sauce, tossed with noodles and greens. A 30-minute recipe that’s better than takeout—perfect for Asian-inspired dinner ideas.


Ingredients

1 lb boneless chicken thighs or breasts

1/3 cup soy sauce

3 tbsp brown sugar

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 tsp fresh ginger, grated

1 tbsp sesame oil

1 tbsp cornstarch mixed with 2 tbsp water (slurry)

10 oz lo mein or udon noodles

2 cups spinach or bok choy

1/4 cup green onions, chopped

1 tbsp sesame seeds, toasted

1 tbsp vegetable oil (for sautéing)


Instructions

1. Combine soy sauce, brown sugar, garlic, ginger, and sesame oil in a bowl. Add chicken and marinate for at least 15 minutes.

2. Cook noodles according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.

3. Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat. Add marinated chicken and sauté until browned and cooked through.

4. Add spinach or bok choy to the skillet. Pour in remaining marinade and the cornstarch slurry. Stir until the sauce thickens.

5. Toss in the cooked noodles and mix everything together until well coated in the sauce.

6. Top with green onions and toasted sesame seeds. Serve hot and enjoy!

Notes

For best results, use chicken thighs—they stay juicier than breasts.

Don’t skip the cornstarch slurry—it makes the sauce stick to the noodles beautifully.

Add chili garlic sauce or red pepper flakes if you prefer a spicy kick.
