Description

This Creamy Garlic Parmesan Chicken with Cheesy Twisted Pasta recipe is a rich, comforting dinner featuring juicy seared chicken breasts over rotini pasta tossed in a creamy garlic-Parmesan sauce. Perfect for weeknights, this easy chicken pasta dish is loaded with flavor and loved by the whole family.

Ingredients

2 chicken breasts, boneless and skinless

8 oz rotini pasta

3 cloves garlic, minced

1 cup Parmesan cheese, freshly grated

1 cup heavy cream

2 tablespoons butter

1 tablespoon olive oil

1 teaspoon salt

½ teaspoon black pepper

1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped (optional)

Instructions

1. Pat chicken breasts dry and season with salt and pepper. Let rest at room temperature for 10 minutes.

2. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Sear the chicken until golden and cooked through, about 5-6 minutes per side. Set aside.

3. In a large pot, cook rotini pasta in salted boiling water until al dente. Drain and reserve ½ cup of pasta water.

4. In the same skillet used for the chicken, melt butter and sauté garlic until fragrant.

5. Stir in heavy cream and bring to a simmer.

6. Add grated Parmesan cheese and whisk until the sauce becomes smooth and thick.

7. Toss in cooked rotini pasta. Use pasta water as needed to thin the sauce.

8. Slice chicken and place on top of pasta. Garnish with parsley if desired. Serve hot.

Notes

Let the chicken rest before slicing to keep it juicy.

Always grate Parmesan fresh for a smoother sauce.

Reserve pasta water — it’s great for adjusting sauce consistency.
