Description

These Salted Caramel Fudge Truffles are the ultimate sweet indulgence. Made with rich caramel, smooth chocolate, and a sprinkle of sea salt, they’re the perfect no-bake dessert or edible gift. Ideal for holidays, parties, and freezer prep.


Ingredients

1 can sweetened condensed milk (14 oz)

2 cups caramel chips or chopped soft caramels

2 tablespoons butter

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1/4 teaspoon sea salt, plus more for topping

2 cups dark or milk chocolate chips (for coating)

1/2 cup white chocolate chips (for drizzling)


Instructions

1. In a saucepan over low heat, combine sweetened condensed milk, caramel chips, and butter. Stir until melted and smooth.

2. Remove from heat. Stir in vanilla extract and sea salt. Let mixture cool slightly.

3. Using a small scoop or spoon, form balls from the mixture and place them on a parchment-lined baking sheet. Refrigerate for 30–45 minutes until firm.

4. Melt the dark or milk chocolate using a microwave or double boiler. Stir until smooth.

5. Dip each chilled caramel ball into the melted chocolate. Allow excess to drip off and place back on parchment.

6. Melt white chocolate and drizzle over the coated truffles. Sprinkle sea salt while the drizzle is still wet.

7. Chill truffles until completely set. Serve or store in an airtight container.

Notes

Keep hands slightly greased when shaping truffles to prevent sticking.

Use quality chocolate for smoother coating and better flavor.

For quicker setting, place the truffles in the freezer for 10 minutes after dipping.
