Description

Dracula’s Dark Cherry Fudge is a rich, no-bake chocolate dessert packed with luscious maraschino cherries. This easy fudge recipe blends dark chocolate, condensed milk, and cherries into a hauntingly delicious treat — perfect for Halloween, holidays, or any occasion that calls for a bold and sweet indulgence.


Ingredients

2 ½ cups dark chocolate chips

1 can (14 oz) sweetened condensed milk

2 tablespoons unsalted butter

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1 ¼ cups whole maraschino cherries, drained and patted dry

1 pinch salt


Instructions

1. Line an 8×8-inch baking dish with parchment paper, leaving overhang on the sides for easy removal. Lightly grease if needed.

2. Drain and pat dry the maraschino cherries thoroughly to avoid excess moisture in the fudge.

3. In a saucepan over low heat, combine the chocolate chips, condensed milk, and butter. Stir continuously until melted and smooth.

4. Remove from heat. Stir in vanilla extract and a pinch of salt until well blended.

5. Fold in the cherries, reserving a few to place on top. Mix gently to avoid bleeding too much color.

6. Pour the mixture into the prepared dish and smooth the top. Decorate with reserved cherries.

7. Refrigerate for at least 3 hours or until firm.

8. Once set, lift the fudge out of the pan using the parchment overhang. Slice into squares and serve chilled.

Notes

Always dry the cherries thoroughly to prevent the fudge from becoming watery or streaked.

Use high-quality dark chocolate for the best flavor and texture.
