These Easy Date Snickers are your new go-to for a wholesome treat that doesn’t sacrifice flavor. This no-bake, easy recipe is ideal for quick snacks, healthy dessert ideas, and fun food ideas that even kids can help make. Whether you’re looking for an easy recipe for meal prep or creative snack-time inspiration, this one delivers big.

Ingredients

12 Medjool dates

6 tablespoons creamy peanut butter

3 tablespoons roasted peanuts

1 cup dark chocolate chips or chopped bar

1 teaspoon coconut oil (optional)

1 teaspoon flaky sea salt

Instructions

1. Slice each Medjool date lengthwise on one side and remove the pit, keeping the date intact like a pocket.

2. Fill each date with about 1/2 tablespoon of creamy peanut butter using a small spoon or spatula.

3. Press 2–3 roasted peanuts into the peanut butter filling in each date.

4. Place all stuffed dates on a parchment-lined baking sheet and freeze for 15–20 minutes to firm up.

5. In a microwave-safe bowl or double boiler, melt the dark chocolate with coconut oil until smooth.

6. Dip each chilled date into the melted chocolate using a fork, then let excess drip off.

7. Place dipped dates back onto the parchment-lined tray.

8. Immediately sprinkle each with a pinch of flaky sea salt before the chocolate hardens.

9. Chill again in the fridge or freezer until fully set.

10. Serve and enjoy!

Notes

Use room-temperature peanut butter for easier spreading.

Don’t skip the chill time—it keeps everything intact for clean dipping.

For a glossy finish, use a teaspoon of coconut oil when melting the chocolate.
