Description

These Easy Italian Sliders are the ultimate party appetizer or weeknight dinner solution! Packed with layers of salami, ham, pepperoni, and melted provolone or mozzarella cheese on sweet Hawaiian rolls, all topped with herbed garlic butter. This recipe is perfect for sliders, Italian party snacks, or baked mini sandwiches that satisfy any crowd.

Ingredients

12 Hawaiian slider rolls

6 slices deli ham

6 slices deli salami

6 slices deli pepperoni

6 slices provolone or mozzarella cheese

4 tablespoons unsalted butter

1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

1 teaspoon garlic powder

2 tablespoons grated parmesan cheese

Instructions

1. Slice the entire sheet of Hawaiian rolls in half horizontally using a serrated bread knife. Place the bottom half into a greased 13×9-inch baking dish.

2. Layer ham, salami, and pepperoni evenly over the bottom half of the rolls.

3. Add cheese slices on top of the meats, making sure to cover the whole surface.

4. Replace the top half of the rolls to form sandwiches.

5. In a small saucepan, melt the butter. Stir in Italian seasoning, garlic powder, and grated parmesan cheese.

6. Use a pastry brush to spread the butter mixture evenly over the tops of the rolls.

7. Cover the dish with foil and bake at 350°F (175°C) for 15 minutes.

8. Remove the foil and bake for another 5 minutes or until the tops are golden and slightly crisp.

9. Let rest for 5 minutes before slicing and serving.

Notes

Use a wire rack inside your baking dish to keep the bottoms from getting soggy.

For extra spice, add red pepper flakes or banana peppers between the meat layers.

Assemble ahead but add the butter topping just before baking to avoid sogginess.
