Description

This Easy Layered Christmas Jello is a festive, no-bake dessert featuring red, white, and green layers perfect for the holidays. Made with lime and cherry jello, a creamy middle layer, and topped with whipped cream, it’s an eye-catching treat for Christmas parties or family gatherings. Great for kids, easy to make ahead, and bursting with holiday cheer.

Ingredients

1 package green lime jello mix (3 oz)

1 package red cherry or strawberry jello mix (3 oz)

2 packets unflavored gelatin

1 can sweetened condensed milk (14 oz)

2 cups boiling water (divided)

2 cups cold water (divided)

0.5 cup boiling water (for gelatin)

0.5 cup cold water (for creamy layer)

Whipped cream (for topping, optional)

Fresh cranberries or holiday sprinkles (for garnish)

Instructions

1. Dissolve the green jello mix in 1 cup boiling water. Stir until fully dissolved. Add 1 cup cold water, stir again, and pour into a 9×13-inch glass dish. Refrigerate until set (about 1 hour).

2. In a clean bowl, dissolve 2 packets unflavored gelatin in 0.5 cup boiling water. Mix until smooth, then stir in the can of sweetened condensed milk and 0.5 cup cold water. Let cool to room temperature, then gently pour over the set green jello. Chill for 45 minutes to 1 hour until firm.

3. Prepare red jello in the same way as the green: dissolve in 1 cup boiling water, then stir in 1 cup cold water. Let cool slightly, then slowly pour over the creamy layer. Refrigerate for 2–3 hours or until fully set.

4. Before serving, cut into squares and top each piece with a dollop of whipped cream and garnish with cranberries or sprinkles.

Notes

Let each layer fully set before adding the next to avoid mixing or melting the layers.

Make sure the creamy layer and red jello cool to room temperature before pouring.

Use a sharp knife dipped in warm water for clean cuts when serving.
