A bubbly, cheesy pasta bake that brings all the bold, comforting flavors of pepperoni pizza to your dinner table. Perfect for busy weeknights or casual weekend meals, it’s a crowd-pleaser that’s easy to prep and fun to customize.
Ingredients
12 oz rotini or penne pasta
2 cups marinara sauce
2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1 tsp Italian seasoning
20–25 pepperoni slices
Optional: red pepper flakes, chopped fresh basil or parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Cook pasta in salted boiling water until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- In a large bowl, mix marinara sauce with Italian seasoning (and red pepper flakes if using).
- Toss cooked pasta with the sauce until evenly coated.
- In a greased 9×13 baking dish, layer half the pasta, then top with half the mozzarella, a handful of Parmesan, and a few pepperoni slices.
- Repeat with remaining pasta, mozzarella, Parmesan, and arrange remaining pepperoni on top.
- Cover with foil and bake for 20 minutes. Uncover and bake an additional 10-15 minutes, until cheese is bubbly and golden.
- Garnish with basil or parsley before serving.
