Description

A bubbly, cheesy pasta bake that brings all the bold, comforting flavors of pepperoni pizza to your dinner table. Perfect for busy weeknights or casual weekend meals, it’s a crowd-pleaser that’s easy to prep and fun to customize.


Ingredients

12 oz rotini or penne pasta

2 cups marinara sauce

2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese

1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

1 tsp Italian seasoning

2025 pepperoni slices

Optional: red pepper flakes, chopped fresh basil or parsley for garnish


Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Cook pasta in salted boiling water until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  3. In a large bowl, mix marinara sauce with Italian seasoning (and red pepper flakes if using).
  4. Toss cooked pasta with the sauce until evenly coated.
  5. In a greased 9×13 baking dish, layer half the pasta, then top with half the mozzarella, a handful of Parmesan, and a few pepperoni slices.
  6. Repeat with remaining pasta, mozzarella, Parmesan, and arrange remaining pepperoni on top.
  7. Cover with foil and bake for 20 minutes. Uncover and bake an additional 10-15 minutes, until cheese is bubbly and golden.
  8. Garnish with basil or parsley before serving.
