A fun fusion of taco night and pizza cravings, this Easy Sheet Pan Taco Pizza is loaded with seasoned beef, gooey cheese, and crisp, fresh toppings. It’s quick to assemble and perfect for feeding a hungry crowd or spicing up a weeknight meal.
Ingredients
1 pound ground beef
1 packet taco seasoning
1 tube pizza dough or crescent roll dough
1/2 cup salsa or pizza sauce
1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
1 cup chopped tomatoes
1 cup shredded lettuce
1/3 cup sour cream
Optional: chopped green onions or cilantro for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (or as directed on dough packaging). Lightly grease a sheet pan.
- Roll out pizza dough onto the sheet pan, pressing to the edges. Pre-bake for 5-7 minutes.
- Brown ground beef in a skillet over medium heat. Drain fat, add taco seasoning and a splash of water, and simmer until thickened.
- Spread salsa or pizza sauce over the pre-baked crust.
- Add cooked taco meat evenly, then top with shredded cheese.
- Bake for 8-10 more minutes, until cheese is melted and crust is golden.
- Remove from oven, cool slightly, then top with chopped tomatoes, lettuce, and sour cream.
- Garnish with green onions or cilantro if desired. Slice and serve.
