Description

Golden, pan-fried chicken breasts wrapped in a crispy parmesan crust, topped with a creamy garlic-infused sauce. This easy dinner recipe is the perfect comfort food with gourmet flair.


Ingredients

2 boneless skinless chicken breasts

1/2 cup all-purpose flour

2 large eggs, beaten

1 cup panko breadcrumbs

1/2 cup freshly grated parmesan cheese (plus more for sauce)

2 tbsp butter (for frying)

1 tbsp olive oil

2 cups heavy cream

4 cloves garlic, minced

2 tbsp butter (for sauce)

1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley

Salt and pepper to taste


Instructions

  1. Slice chicken breasts horizontally and pound to even thickness. Season with salt and pepper.
  2. Dredge each piece in flour, dip in beaten eggs, then coat with a mix of breadcrumbs and parmesan.
  3. In a large skillet, melt 2 tbsp butter with olive oil over medium heat. Fry chicken until golden and crispy on both sides. Remove and set aside.
  4. In the same skillet, add 2 tbsp butter and minced garlic. Sauté until fragrant.
  5. Pour in heavy cream, bring to a simmer, and stir in parmesan. Let the sauce thicken slightly.
  6. Return chicken to skillet and coat with sauce. Garnish with parsley and serve hot.
