1 ¼ cups heavy cream
¼ cup whole milk
2 tablespoons granulated sugar
1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
Pinch of salt

Instructions
- Prepare the crust: Ensure your pie crust is baked and completely cooled.
- Heat the cream mixture: In a saucepan, combine heavy cream, milk, sugar, and salt. Heat on medium until it starts to simmer. Do not boil.
