Description

Fried Strawberry Cheesecake Sandwiches are a quick skillet dessert made with buttery toasted bread, creamy cheesecake filling, and sweet strawberry jam. Easy, crispy, and perfect for brunch or weeknight treats.

Ingredients

8 slices white bread

8 ounces cream cheese softened

1/4 cup powdered sugar for filling

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1 cup strawberry jam or preserves

4 tablespoons unsalted butter softened for frying

Powdered sugar for dusting optional

Instructions

1. Soften the cream cheese

2. Make the cheesecake filling by mixing cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla

3. Assemble the sandwiches with cream cheese on four slices and jam on four slices

4. Butter the outsides of each sandwich

5. Heat a nonstick skillet over medium heat

6. Fry sandwiches 2-3 minutes per side until golden and heated through

7. Rest 1 minute on a rack to keep bottoms crisp

8. Dust with powdered sugar, slice, and serve warm

Notes

Swap the jam: raspberry, blueberry, or mixed-berry preserves work great

Seal edges with a cream-cheese border to keep jam in

Air fry at 375 F (190 C) for 5-7 minutes, flipping once; butter the outsides
