Description

Garlic Butter Cheeseburger Rollups are an irresistible dinner idea that combines ground beef, cheddar cheese, garlic butter, and crescent roll dough into handheld bites. Perfect for easy weeknight meals, parties, or kid-approved lunches, this cheesy recipe is a savory twist on the classic cheeseburger. It’s also great for freezer meals and simple meal prep.


Ingredients

1 lb ground beef

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

1 small onion, diced

1 tsp garlic powder

1/2 tsp salt

1/2 tsp black pepper

1 tube refrigerated crescent roll dough or pizza dough

3 tbsp butter, melted

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 tbsp chopped parsley (optional)


Instructions

1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

2. In a skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat. Add diced onion, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Cook until onion is soft. Drain excess fat.

3. Remove from heat and stir in shredded cheddar until melted into the beef mixture.

4. Roll out the dough and cut into rectangles (or use crescent triangles). Spoon beef mixture onto each and roll tightly.

5. Place rollups seam-side down on the baking sheet.

6. Bake for 12–15 minutes or until golden brown.

7. While baking, melt butter and stir in minced garlic.

8. Once rollups are baked, brush with garlic butter.

9. Garnish with chopped parsley if using. Serve warm with dipping sauce.

Notes

Chill rolled dough briefly before baking to help it hold shape.

For extra crisp, bake directly on a greased sheet pan instead of parchment.

Use freshly shredded cheese for best melting and texture.
