Ingredients
1 lb sirloin steak, cut into cubes
3 cloves garlic, minced
3 tbsp butter
Salt and black pepper, to taste
12 oz linguine pasta
1 ½ cups heavy cream
1 cup shredded parmesan cheese
1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
½ cup shredded fontina cheese
½ cup shredded asiago cheese
2 tbsp chopped parsley, for garnish
Instructions
1. Season steak cubes with salt and pepper. Heat a cast iron skillet over medium-high heat with oil. Sear steak in batches until browned on all sides. Set aside.
2. Reduce heat to medium. Add butter and garlic to the skillet. Stir until fragrant. Return steak to skillet, toss to coat in garlic butter. Cover and set aside.
3. Boil linguine in salted water until al dente. Drain and set aside.
4. In a saucepan, heat heavy cream over medium heat. Slowly add cheeses, stirring until melted and smooth. Season with salt and pepper.
5. Toss linguine with cheese sauce until coated. Serve with garlic butter steak. Garnish with parsley.
Notes
Make sure the skillet is hot before searing to get a good crust on the steak.
Use freshly grated cheese for a smoother, meltier sauce.
Add a splash of milk when reheating to revive the creamy texture.
