Description
Golden Garlic Butter Chicken with Creamy Parmesan Linguine is the ultimate comfort food dinner with juicy seared chicken, a rich garlic butter cream sauce, and perfectly coated linguine. A 30-minute gourmet-style pasta recipe that’s quick, satisfying, and family-approved.
Ingredients
1 lb chicken breast, boneless and skinless
1 tbsp olive oil
2 tbsp butter
4 cloves garlic, minced
1 cup heavy cream
1 cup freshly grated parmesan cheese
8 oz linguine pasta
1 tsp Italian seasoning
1/2 tsp smoked paprika
Salt and pepper to taste
2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped (optional)
Instructions
1. Cut the chicken into bite-sized chunks and season with olive oil, salt, pepper, Italian seasoning, and smoked paprika.
2. Heat a skillet over medium-high heat and sear the chicken until golden and fully cooked. Set aside.
3. In a large pot, cook linguine in salted boiling water until al dente. Drain and reserve 1/2 cup pasta water.
4. In the same skillet, lower the heat, melt butter, and sauté garlic until fragrant.
5. Pour in heavy cream and simmer gently. Whisk in parmesan cheese until smooth.
6. Add reserved pasta water as needed to thin the sauce. Toss in linguine and coat well.
7. Return chicken to the skillet, toss with pasta, and heat through.
8. Garnish with parsley and extra parmesan before serving.
Notes
For extra depth, brown the butter slightly before adding garlic.
Always reserve pasta water—it’s gold for adjusting the sauce.
Use freshly grated parmesan for the best creamy melt and flavor.
