Description

A rich and fruity dessert with a delightful “earthquake” effect, this gooey strawberry cake is bursting with creamy, sweet flavors and a golden, buttery base. Perfect for celebrations or when you’re craving something indulgent.


Ingredients

1 box yellow cake mix

1/2 cup butter, melted

2 large eggs

8 oz cream cheese, softened

2 cups powdered sugar

1 tsp vanilla extract

1 1/2 cups sliced strawberries (fresh or thawed frozen)

1 tub whipped topping (8 oz)


Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  2. In a bowl, mix cake mix, eggs, and melted butter until smooth. Spread in pan.
  3. In a separate bowl, beat cream cheese until fluffy. Mix in powdered sugar and vanilla.
  4. Spoon cream cheese mixture over cake batter in dollops.
  5. Scatter strawberries on top and lightly press into cream cheese.
  6. Bake for 40-45 minutes until golden and bubbly.
  7. Cool at least 30 minutes. Top with whipped topping and extra strawberries before serving.
