Ingredients
1 box yellow cake mix
1/2 cup butter, melted
2 large eggs
8 oz cream cheese, softened
2 cups powdered sugar
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 1/2 cups sliced strawberries (fresh or thawed frozen)
1 tub whipped topping (8 oz)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
- In a bowl, mix cake mix, eggs, and melted butter until smooth. Spread in pan.
- In a separate bowl, beat cream cheese until fluffy. Mix in powdered sugar and vanilla.
- Spoon cream cheese mixture over cake batter in dollops.
- Scatter strawberries on top and lightly press into cream cheese.
- Bake for 40-45 minutes until golden and bubbly.
- Cool at least 30 minutes. Top with whipped topping and extra strawberries before serving.
