Ingredients
1 lb ground beef
1 1/2 cups elbow macaroni
1 medium onion, chopped
1 green bell pepper, diced
1 red bell pepper, diced
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 can (15 oz) diced tomatoes
1 can (15 oz) tomato sauce
1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
1 tbsp Italian seasoning
Salt and pepper to taste
Fresh parsley, chopped (optional for garnish)
Instructions
- In a large pot, brown the ground beef over medium heat. Drain excess fat.
- Add chopped onion and diced bell peppers to the beef. Sauté for 5-7 minutes.
- Stir in garlic and cook for 1 more minute until fragrant.
- Pour in diced tomatoes and tomato sauce. Add Worcestershire sauce and Italian seasoning. Simmer for 10 minutes.
- Meanwhile, cook the elbow macaroni according to package instructions. Drain.
- Stir cooked pasta into the meat sauce. Simmer together for another 5-10 minutes.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste. Garnish with parsley if desired.
