Description
These Graveyard Dirt Cake Cups are the perfect no-bake Halloween dessert, layered with chocolate pudding, crushed cookies, and a creamy whipped topping. Ideal for spooky parties, they’re easy to assemble, kid-friendly, and totally customizable with edible graveyard decorations.
Ingredients
1 package (14 oz) chocolate sandwich cookies
8 oz cream cheese, softened
1 package (3.9 oz) instant chocolate pudding mix
2 cups cold milk
8 oz whipped topping (like Cool Whip), thawed
1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips (for ganache)
1/4 cup heavy cream (for ganache)
Gummy worms, tombstone cookies, Halloween sprinkles (for garnish)
Instructions
1. Pulse the chocolate sandwich cookies in a food processor until finely crushed. Set aside.
2. In a medium bowl, whisk together the chocolate pudding mix and cold milk. Let it set for 5 minutes.
3. In a separate large bowl, beat softened cream cheese until smooth. Fold in the whipped topping until fully incorporated.
4. Add the set pudding to the cream cheese mixture and stir until well combined.
5. Begin layering in clear cups: start with crushed cookies, then a layer of pudding mixture. Repeat as desired.
6. In a microwave-safe bowl, melt chocolate chips and heavy cream in 30-second intervals until smooth. Stir well.
7. Spoon or pipe the ganache around the cup rims for a drip effect. Chill to set.
8. Pipe a swirl of remaining cream on top and decorate with gummy worms, cookie tombstones, and sprinkles.
Notes
Use clear cups or jars to show off the dramatic layered effect.
For a more intense chocolate flavor, add a bit of espresso powder to the pudding.
Decorations are best added just before serving to keep textures crisp and fresh.
