Ingredients
1 lb lean ground beef
5 medium Russet or Yukon Gold potatoes, peeled and thinly sliced
1 small onion, diced
2 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese
1 can (10.5 oz) cream of mushroom soup
1/2 cup milk
Salt and pepper, to taste
Fresh parsley, chopped (optional, for garnish)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
- In a skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef with diced onion until fully cooked. Season with salt and pepper. Drain excess fat.
- In a bowl, stir together the cream of mushroom soup and milk until smooth.
