Ingredients
1 cup unsalted butter
1 cup granulated sugar
1 cup brown sugar
3 large eggs
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
1 cup all-purpose flour
1 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 cup chocolate chips
1/2 cup Halloween sprinkles and candy-coated chocolates
Instructions
1. Melt the unsalted butter in a microwave-safe bowl, then whisk in both sugars until smooth and glossy.
2. Crack in the eggs one at a time, whisking well after each addition. Stir in the vanilla extract.
3. Sift in the cocoa powder, flour, and salt. Fold gently using a spatula until just combined.
4. Stir in the chocolate chips until evenly distributed.
5. Pour the batter into a parchment-lined 8×8 or 9×9 baking pan. Smooth the top.
6. Sprinkle Halloween sprinkles and candy-coated chocolates over the top.
7. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 30–35 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out with a few moist crumbs.
8. Let the brownies cool completely in the pan before lifting out and slicing.
Notes
Don’t overmix the batter—fold gently to keep the texture fudgy.
For extra gooeyness, slightly underbake and let them cool in the pan.
Make sure brownies are fully cooled before slicing for clean edges.
