Description

This Healthy Cherry Greek Frozen Yogurt is a high-protein, low-guilt frozen treat made with creamy Greek yogurt, fresh cherries, and natural sweeteners. A refreshing and easy dessert perfect for summer, with no ice cream maker required. Great for clean eating and family-friendly snacks!

Ingredients

2 cups Greek yogurt (full-fat or low-fat)

2 cups cherries (fresh or frozen, pitted)

2 to 3 tablespoons honey or maple syrup (adjust to taste)

1 tablespoon lemon juice

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1/2 cup chopped cherries (optional, for texture)

Instructions

1. Add Greek yogurt, cherries, honey or maple syrup, lemon juice, and vanilla extract to a high-speed blender or food processor.

2. Blend until smooth and creamy. Scrape down the sides if needed.

3. Taste the mixture and adjust sweetness if desired by adding more honey.

4. Fold in the optional chopped cherries using a spatula.

5. Transfer to a freezer-safe airtight container and smooth the top.

6. Freeze for 2–3 hours or until firm and scoopable.

7. Let sit at room temperature for 5 minutes before serving.

8. Scoop and enjoy with your favorite toppings like chocolate chips, granola, or mint.

Notes

If your cherries are very tart, taste the blend and add an extra spoon of honey to balance it.

For an ultra-smooth finish, strain the blended mix through a fine mesh sieve before freezing.

Use full-fat Greek yogurt for the creamiest result—it holds up best in freezing.
