Ingredients
2 tablespoons chia seeds
1 cup unsweetened almond milk (or any milk of choice)
1 scoop chocolate protein powder (whey or plant-based)
1 tablespoon unsweetened cocoa powder
1–2 teaspoons maple syrup or honey (optional, to taste)
1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
A pinch of sea salt
Dark chocolate chunks or shavings (optional topping)
Instructions
- In a bowl or jar, combine almond milk, maple syrup or honey, and vanilla extract. Mix well.
- Whisk in the chocolate protein powder, cocoa powder, and sea salt until smooth.
- Stir in chia seeds and let sit for 5 minutes. Stir again to prevent clumping.
- Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours or overnight.
- Stir before serving and top with dark chocolate chunks if desired.
