Description

This Holiday Bliss Christmas Peppermint Pie is the ultimate no-bake dessert for the holidays. With a creamy peppermint filling, chocolate cookie crust, and festive candy cane topping, it’s a must-serve Christmas dessert. Ingredients

1 ½ cups chocolate cookie crumbs

6 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted

8 oz cream cheese, softened

1 cup powdered sugar

1 teaspoon peppermint extract

23 drops red food coloring (optional)

1 cup heavy whipping cream

½ cup crushed candy canes

1 cup whipped cream (for topping)


Instructions

1. Crush chocolate cookies into fine crumbs and mix with melted butter. Press firmly into the bottom and sides of a springform pan or pie dish. Chill for 10–15 minutes to set.

2. In a cold mixing bowl, whip the heavy cream until stiff peaks form. Set aside.

3. Beat cream cheese until smooth, then add powdered sugar and peppermint extract. Add a few drops of red food coloring if desired. Gently fold in the whipped cream until light and fluffy.

4. Spoon the peppermint filling into the chilled crust. Smooth the top with a spatula and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, preferably overnight.

5. Before serving, pipe or spread whipped cream around the edges and sprinkle with crushed candy canes. Slice and serve chilled.

Notes

Let the pie chill for at least 4 hours for a firm, sliceable texture.

Use a warm knife to slice cleanly and wipe between cuts.

Garnish just before serving to keep the candy canes crisp and colorful.
