Ingredients
1 lb ground beef
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp black pepper
1 cup shredded lettuce
1/4 cup diced pickles
1/4 cup diced onion
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
4 large burrito tortillas
1/2 cup mayonnaise
1 tbsp ketchup
1 tbsp yellow mustard
1 tbsp sweet relish
1 tsp white vinegar
1/4 tsp garlic powder
1/4 tsp sugar
Instructions
1. Heat a skillet over medium-high heat. Add the ground beef, season with salt and pepper, and cook until browned, breaking it up into crumbles. Drain excess grease.
2. In a bowl, mix mayonnaise, ketchup, mustard, relish, vinegar, garlic powder, and sugar to make the special sauce. Chill until ready.
3. Lay a tortilla flat and sprinkle with cheese. Top with beef, sauce, lettuce, pickles, and onions.
4. Fold the wrap tightly like a burrito. Heat a clean skillet and grill each wrap seam-side down until golden and crisp, about 2 minutes per side.
5. Let rest briefly, slice in half, and serve with extra sauce on the side.
Notes
For extra flavor, add a sprinkle of sesame seeds to the wrap before grilling.
Prep the sauce a day ahead to let the flavors develop.
Use a sandwich press or panini maker for an even crisp.
