Description

This creamy Homemade Peanut Sauce is the ultimate blend of savory, sweet, and tangy flavors. Perfect for dipping, drizzling, or tossing with noodles, it’s a quick and easy sauce made with pantry staples. Naturally gluten-free and dairy-free, it’s a must-have for Southeast Asian-inspired meals. Keywords: homemade peanut sauce, peanut dipping sauce, peanut noodle sauce.

Ingredients

1/2 cup creamy peanut butter

2 tablespoons soy sauce

1 tablespoon lime juice

1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup

1 clove garlic, minced

1/2 teaspoon grated ginger (optional)

1 teaspoon chili sauce or 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes

1/4 to 1/3 cup warm water (to thin)

Instructions

1. Measure out all your ingredients and keep them ready.

2. Add peanut butter, soy sauce, lime juice, honey or maple syrup, garlic, ginger (if using), and chili sauce or red pepper flakes into a blender or food processor.

3. Blend until smooth and creamy, pausing to scrape down the sides as needed.

4. Add warm water, one tablespoon at a time, blending in between, until the sauce reaches your desired consistency.

5. Taste and adjust: add more honey for sweetness, soy sauce for saltiness, or chili for heat.

6. Store in a glass jar in the fridge for up to one week. Shake or stir before each use.

Notes

Use creamy, unsweetened peanut butter for better flavor control.

Add water gradually to avoid an overly thin sauce.

For a nut-free version, substitute peanut butter with sunflower seed butter or tahini.
